Overview
Leaving Lisbon via the Vasco da Gama Bridge (17 km, the longest in Europe), you will have the opportunity to admire the beautiful bay of the Tagus River. After arriving in Palmela, we will go up to the castle for a chance to make incredible photos. Then we set off for the mountains along the wine region of Arrábida, passing through vineyards and cork oak and olive groves. The next stop will be on a family-owned wine-producing estate in the heart of Arrábida Park, where we will have the opportunity to taste some local wines. After the race we continue to the highest point of the Arrábida Natural Park to enjoy the magnificent scenery and breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Free time for lunch will be spent in the fishing village of Sesimbra where we will have time to enjoy its beautiful beach. Then we will go to the village of Azeitão where we will enjoy another wine tasting during the guided visit to one of the oldest wineries in the region. And last but not least, we stop at Cristo Rei (a monument inspired by Cristo Redentor in Rio de Janeiro) to take in the view over the city of Lisbon, before the 25 April Bridge returns.
Days of the week: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (November to February) and Mondays to Fridays (March to October). October to December only one outlet: Hard Rock Café
